5 Keys that Keeps d' Movement Rollin!

Personally experiencing the gospel and truly understanding its implications is so essential if you really want to live your one and only life to the full!

The gospel is the deal breaker” of life!

It’s like tasting the food that’s so good (as in the “best-ever”) that you would never go eat something lesser that what you use to eat before! (would you still prefer eating cheap foods like pag-pag when you have been given FREE daily access to a World Class Buffet like Spiral?)

The gospel is also like experiencing the world of Apple when you got your first MacBook and you just can’t go back to PC anymore! :) (I know I might offend some PC users, but the gospel is also offensive hehe! It really hurts ya know, but it truly sets you free! :) )

And it’s also like accidentally finding a hidden treasure chest in a lot that’s for sale that you would hide it there again, go sell all your possessions and cash out your all your money in your bank account and go buy the lot right away! You’re so sure the return is way too higher than the value of what you just sold! :)

When you really get this, you’ll fling your life to Who its all about and the its Cause!

I’m currently reading Steven Addison’s book: Movements that Change the World and I really find it worth reading! In this book, he started off by sharing the life story of Patrick of Ireland. How God shaped & prepared this teenager, captivated his heart with the love of God for him through Christ, and how he used him in re-igniting the spread of the gospel in their known world. Here 5 keys on what makes a movement alive, kicking, and viral!

1. “White Hot Faith!”

By God’s grace, Jesus comes in and intrudes our lives. He comes uninvited and opens hearts and ears of specific people in specific times and places to the Truth of who He is, who we really are and captivates us with His amazing Love! This results to godly passion, where you are caused to love God with all your thinking, feeling, with all your relationships, and with all your strength and all you are-with everything!

2. “Commitment to a Cause”

When you truly love a person, you’ll begin to love what he wants, and hate what he hates- in short, you become in-sync with each other! When a person begins to truly love God, he makes His ultimate agenda his as well. Throughout history, the ones who forcefully advanced the Kingdom of God we’re the ones who valued Christ and His cause more than anything!

3. “Contagious Relationships”

The gospel travels best through relationships! Not through a piece of paper but through people! This is why learning to live the gospel, and living it out daily is as essential as clearly talking about it and explaining its concepts! It’s powerful when demonstrated not just merely explained! When we truly care for people, they begin to get exposed to the gospel. The spread of it would be viral!-a natural word-of-mouth network to network transfer!

4. “Rapid Mobilization”

Next generation leaders must be homegrown never “hired”. Effective movements develop a culture of developing leaders from the movement and release them to go immediately and serve! Preparing them means establishing them on basic foundations of the faith and equipping them in basic ministry skills. But they have to be empowered to immediately share the gospel and make disciples who makes disciples! Coach them on the go!

5. “Adaptive Methods”

The way we make disciples must be biblical, simply doable, and transferable. We must be open to new ways of doing things and never be boxed by traditions, scripts and past

systems. We can effectively, excellently, and efficiently reach out without selling out. The core truths of the faith must never be compromised yet we must present it in a way that’s new, fresh, and sensible!

“His writings do not reveal the training of a scholar, but they do reveal the heart of a man compelled by the love of Christ, led by the Spirit and guided by the Scriptures.” (on Patrick of Ireland)

”God’s Movement changes people and changed people change the world!”

-Steve Addison

The mighty movers of the past were not mere academic theologians.

They were remarkably known for their spiritual authority, integrity and missionary zeal!

You may just be a teenager at this time or you may in a another professional field and not in “full-time” ministry, or you might feel you haven’t had the “formal” training but you want to make a difference, just go start sharing your story with the people you are surrounded with. Share Jesus.

Share the amazing message of new life through him!

Let’s go keep on spreading the fire!

Keep on living and sharing the gospel!

Believe!!!
