Teens Thirsty for Change

I met Mike* more than a month ago.

He's a 19 year old, night-school scholar in one of the prestigious high school campus in Metro Manila.

He works during the day to earn his living and studies at night time to finish his high school. He comes from a broken family as what most teenagers are now experiencing. Fatherless and left by their mother, he fought the fight of life and started living on his own. One day, he got involved in one of the networking companies that eventually led him to visit one of our church's events called “The Need To Succeed”.

Little did he know that it was the moment.

God met Him there.

The seeds of God's word planted in him growing up suddenly made sense. After some weeks he got connected with our student discipleship group. One of our student leaders, also a senior high met with him and taught him what it meant to trust and follow Jesus. His hunger for the truth is just awesome. And so was his growth! Today he just got water baptized as a public declaration of his faith in Christ

!

Now more than thirsting for success he now thirsts for change…change in his life, his parents, and family.

He thirsts that they too would know Jesus, the Truth who sets people free from sin

and lies.

This is just amazing!

This is how God makes history! This is just one and a lot are about to be heard.

Let Jesus be known for who He truly is that he may be loved and worshipped for who He truly is. He is just worthy to be praised!

Let's keep on our thirst for change!
